This year Ford has made a new generation of Sport Trac’s featuring an updated, more performing engine as well as improvements over safety and design to be more competitive and innovative than ever before.

The 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac comes standard with the 4.0L Cologne V-6 engine producing 210HP and 254FTLB of torque. As an option for the first time this year, Ford is offering buyers the ability to upgrade to the 4.6L Modular V-8 with 292HP and 300FTLB of torque. The 4.6L Engine features a 24-valve design with three (3) valves per cylinder on a Single-Over-Head-Cam design for performance and efficiency.
